On International Women’s Day, Google has paid tribute to active women in various fields of life through a unique doodle.
Google’s March 8 doodle features a quilt stitched with various symbols of women’s progress.

The doodle illustrates the sharing of knowledge by women from generation to generation. It highlights achievements on gender equality.

It should be noted that the United Nations celebrated International Women’s Day for the first time on March 8, 1975۔

March 8th commemorates two early Women’s Day demonstrations, one in Saint Petersburg, and the other in New York City. While in different years and places, these rallies had common goals of achieving gender equality including fair and safe employment, the right to vote, and the right to hold public office.
